End of Support for Microfile XE Versions 2.50 and Older
Micropal Systems mainstream product support for Microfile XE versions 2.50
and older ended on August 1, 2012. Customers are advised not to run
an unsupported version of Microfile XE after the end-of-support
date.
Customers who are duly paying license subscription fees are
eligible to upgrade to newer versions of Microfile XE free of charge
and continue to have mainstream product support for the newer versions.
Customers who failed to pay license subscriptions in a timely
manner are not eligible for free upgrades. Free product support and
system re-activation keys are not available.
If you are not eligible for free upgrades due to failure to duly
pay rental or annual subscription fees and you need product upgrade
or system re-activation keys for Microfile XE, you may
(1) pay the arrears of annual fees or rental fees to revive your
eligibility and upgrade to newer versions; or
(2) pay a handling fee for a special product re-activation key. The
cost of the new activation key will be based on your previous
licenses case-by-case. The re-activation key will be only for the
Microfile XE version you are using; or
(3) buy a new license for a newer version.
